Like the men and women who forged the Wild West, we are dedicated to delivering true grit in every cup. This grit is found in the simple, honest pleasures of mountain life. Sourced ethically from sustainable farms, our specialty-grade coffee is the fuel for that dedication - supporting the demanding work on the ranch or in the city, the quiet moments with family, and a deep appreciation for the great outdoors.
We’re Eric and Sherry. After years in the military and the corporate world, we traded city lights for Tehachapi starlight to get back to our roots. Our company was born on our first date: we grabbed a cup of coffee and went to see the Top Gun sequel. Eric took the "Maverick" aesthetic to heart, growing a mustache as a joke to make Sherry laugh. The joke worked- the 'stache stuck, and we’ve been caffeinating our "blended and beautiful" family ever since.
Life here can be a little "bonkers nuts." From the daily saga of our crazy roosters- like Elvis, our feathered villain - to that inevitable 4:00 am wake-up call from our sweet boy, Hank, we’ve learned that coffee is the ultimate connector (and a total survival necessity).
